Concession Staff
Concessions – Looking for friendly, customer service forward individuals to work in the Concessions Stand at The Carolina Theatre. Hours are very limited part-time, mostly nights and weekends based on the performance calendar. Duties include popping corn, pouring drinks, taking orders, collecting payment, and serving our patrons in a fast-paced environment. Starting $9.00-11.00 depending on experience. Tips are shared with other concessions workers.
- Over 18
- Able to be on your feet for 3+ hours
- Ability to lift 20lbs
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Outgoing and Customer Service focused
Front of House Manager
Front of House Managers – Looking for friendly, customer service forward individuals to serve as House Managers @ The Carolina Theatre. The house manager is responsible for the smooth operation of the lobby and auditorium during the run of the show. House managers welcome the public to the theatre and oversee their safety and well-being before, during, and immediately after the show. Hours are part-time, mostly nights and weekends, with some daytime hours. Starting rate $12.00/hr.
- Over 21
- Able to be on your feet for 3+ hours
- Ability to lift 20lbs
- Daytime availability is a plus
- Experience supervising other staff and volunteers
- Outgoing and Customer Service focused
- Creative problem solver who remains calm under pressure.
Box Office Phone and Window Sales
Box Office Window & Phone Sales – Looking for friendly, customer service forward individuals, ability to talk on phone, comfortable using computer, comfortable handling money. Part-time hours M-F 12 – 3 and random nights and weekends. Starting rate $10.00.
- Over 18
- Must be friendly and customer service forward
- Phone and Computer experience, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Creative problem solver who remains calm under pressure.
Technical Staff
Technical Staff – Looking for sound/lighting technicians and general stagehands. Load-in, run and load-out shows of all sizes. Hours are part-time, schedule based on performance calendars. Starting Pay $15/hr depending on experience. Potential Candidates should be:
- Over 18
- Able to be actively on your feet for 3+ hours
- Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs
- Technical experience preferred, however willing to train the right candidates
