Ticket Information

Regular hours for The Carolina Theatre Box Office are Monday through Friday, from noon until 3:00 pm.

  • For all events, excluding movies, in the Ben and Betty Cone, Jr. auditorium there will be an additional $5 Carolina Theatre processing fee. The processing fee for events held in The Crown is $3 per ticket.
  • NC Sales of 6.75% is added to the price of each ticket unless otherwise noted.
  • There is an optional USPS mail fee of $3.00 per order; tickets can also be picked up at the box office at no additional charge. E-tickets are available for most shows at no additional charge.
  • Fees may change. Event promoters may add additional fees. Please read the event description for transparent pricing and all related fees.
  • All patrons, regardless of age, are required to have a ticket for admission into the theatre for any event or concert.
  • For most performances at the Carolina Theatre, children are defined as age 12 and under and seniors are 60 and over, unless otherwise stated in the event listing.
  • In honor of their strength and courage, we offer a military discount on tickets to certain “Carolina Theatre Presents” shows. When a show has a discount for seniors and students, it will have one for military as well. Simply state that you have served or are currently serving in the military when you purchase your tickets.

Ticket Exchanges for Events and Concerts

Refunds are not offered on tickets unless the show is canceled due to inclement weather or artist illness.

If the show is canceled, your ticket purchase will automatically be refunded to your method of payment. If you used cash or check as a payment method, you will receive a Carolina Theatre check in the mail.

If you have purchased Booking Protect and would like to make a claim, visit their site.

Inclement Weather Policy

If the artist is in town and can perform, the show will go on. Cancelation information will be announced on WFMY News 2, on our Box Office recording, through social media (Facebook and Twitter) and on our website on the event page. If the event IS canceled, we will try to reschedule it and all tickets will be honored. If we are unable to reschedule you will receive a refund.

The Carolina Theatre of Greensboro is Accessible. For the most enjoyable experience, please alert our Box Office of your needs when purchasing tickets. For your comfort, the Carolina Theatre offers:

  • Patron Drop-Off: Patrons with limited mobility may be dropped off along Greene Street, at the Carolina Theatre entrance.
  • Transport Chairs: Courtesy transport chairs are available to assist patrons from curbside to theatre seating. Pull to the front of the building and an usher will assist you.
  • Parking: The Lincoln Financial lot next to our building is available evenings and weekends with free parking. There is limited accessible parking along Greene Street in front of the building. The Greene Street parking deck across the street also has accessible parking spaces. We recommend arriving early for the best parking options.
  • Wheelchair Accessibility: Accessible seating is available in both the Betty and Ben Cone, Jr. Auditorium and The Crown at the Carolina. Companion seats are available as well as seats with swing-out or lift-up arms for easier access.
  • Assisted Listening: The Betty and Ben Cone, Jr. Auditorium is equipped with a T-Coil Loop system. If your hearing aids have built-in T-Coils, switch your hearing aid to “T or T-Coil” and you’ll be able to hear the show with the background noise filtered out.
  • Service Animals: If you intend to bring a service animal, please notify the Box Office at the time of your ticket purchase, so that an aisle seat can be reserved for you. Service animals are welcome inside The Carolina Theatre and must remain on a leash and always be identified with a service animal vest and tag or papers.
  • How can we make you comfortable? Please notify the Carolina Theatre Box Office if there is anything we can do to address a special need and make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Our Box Office staff will be pleased to help you and can be reached at 336-333-2605 M-F 12-3pm.

Third Party Sellers / Secondary Market

  • Tickets for events at the Carolina Theatre and The Crown at the Carolina are sold exclusively through the theatre box office and online at CarolinaTheatre.com.
  • We DO NOT partner with third party sellers. We reserve the right to cancel and refund purchases found to be suspect.
  • Tickets found to be suspect will be canceled and they will not scan at the door.
  • Tickets may not be transferred to a second party without purchaser ID.
  • We reserve the right to decline entry if you are not the original ticket buyer.
  • Resale/attempted resale of a ticket at a price higher than face value is a violation of our terms and grounds for seizure/cancellation without refund.
  • Do not make copies of your tickets or attempt to sell copies. Each ticket will only have one acceptable scan for entry, all other scans will be denied entry.
  • All hard tickets and e-tickets have the original face value of the ticket printed on them.
