Raven Hooker, known by her stage name The SongBird Raven, is a celebrated artist in the realms of RnB, Blues, Soul, and Neo Soul. Born in Sanford, North Carolina, and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Raven has carved out a notable presence in the music industry with her unique voice and diverse musical talents. From a young age, Raven was drawn to music, finding her voice and passion in the rich sounds of her musical influences, which include icons like Whitney Houston, Prince, Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Faith Evans, Fantasia, and Gerald Levert. This eclectic mix has shaped Raven‘s versatile style, allowing her to traverse various musical genres and captivate audiences with her soulful performances.

Raven‘s career is highlighted by her impressive achievements and accolades. She was a semi-finalist in the 2023 Fall season of “Showtime at the Apollo,” showcasing her talent on a renowned platform. In addition, she has garnered multiple awards and is recognized as a community advocate, using her voice to inspire and uplift those around her. One of Raven‘s notable career moments includes opening shows for Chris Thomas, the host of “Rap City,” and J.H.
