Hitchcock’s Rope – 2025 Summer Film Festival

The Carolina Theatre of Greensboro has been a staple of the community, offering films of all different genres and engaging events for all. The 2025 Summer Film Festival continues the tradition of celebrating cinema and pop culture in an interactive and memorable way.

Inspired by a true crime, Hitchcock’s Rope follows two friends who murder a classmate and host a dinner party with his body hidden in the room. Taut, provocative, and filmed to appear in a single continuous shot, it’s one of Hitchcock’s most daring thrillers.

Starring James Stewart, John Dall, Farley Granger. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock. 1948. PG. 1 hour 20 minutes.

Summer Film Fest tickets are $9, taxes and fees included.
Seniors, military, first responders, students & educators save $1 per ticket!
Carolina Theatre Movie passes will also be accepted at door.

Doors and Box Office will open at 6:15pm.

We are proud to partner with the Greensboro Public Library to support our Hitchcock series. Ronald Headen from the Library will be sharing a pre-movie talk including fun and historical facts about Hitchcock before each screening. Be sure to arrive early to catch his talk and sign up for your library card.
