Tom suggests an unlikely suspect instead: Jonathan Zimmermann (Bruno Ganz), a local picture framer rumored to have a fatal disease and a family he desperately wants to provide for. The terminally ill craftsman may agree to the misdeed, and several more, but he’ll end up needing Tom Ripley in a pinch. Directed by Wim Wenders. 1977. Not Rated . 2 hours, 5 minutes.
