Robin Hood: Men in Tights

Join us for our 11th Annual Summer Film Festival, this year in The Crown on the third floor of the theatre!

Our auditorium is closed for renovations this summer – to learn more, read about our Capital Campaign.

Mel Brooks adds his own personal touch to the classic tale of Robin Hood!  Robin of Locksley (Cary Elwes), the most skilled archer in the land, has just returned to England from fighting in the Holy Crusades with King Richard. Robin finds his country has gone to ruin at the hands of the evil Prince John (Richard Lewis) and the Sheriff of Rottingham (Roger Rees)!  To overthrow the evil duo, Robin recruits a band of merry men and storms the castle, where he falls in love at first sight with Marian of Bagelle (Amy Yasbeck), a maid of the court.  Marian is looking for the man who has the figurative and literal key to unlock her heart (and… more private parts). But the Sheriff has his own eyes on Marian.  Can Robin win the throne and Marian’s love? Directed by Mel Brooks. 1993. Rated PG-13. 1 hour, 45 minutes.
