fascinating imagery.” – Flush Magazine

After he vanished completely on the last note of a FeverDream show in 2015, rumor has
it that Tokyo-born multi-instrumentalist Stefan K DiMuzio went into exile to find and train
his inner guru. Some say he went on an extended shopping spree for better gear. It
could have just been bourbon run. He is bursting back on the scene as Shefali, with the
intent of blending his diverse musical interests in sound healing, folk and bohemian rock
to create a uniquely spiritual performance. His genre-defying songs feature
multi-layered vocal chants, electronic beats, mind-bending talkbox and vocoder
melodies, as well as lyrics in both English and Japanese. He is currently recording his
debut album.
