Jazz in the Crown: Titus Gant Quartet

Join the Titus Gant Quartet in concert for the second installment of this local jazz artist series.   The Greensboro-based jazz Quartet, lead by saxophonist and vocalist Titus Gant, will showcase concepts of jazz standards while exhibiting original work.

Titus Gant is an active music educator and performer who lives in Greensboro, NC. Born in the rural town of Reevesville, South Carolina, Titus studied saxophone while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the historic Claflin University. During his undergraduate studies with Bryson Borgstedt, Gant began to teach privately and perform with jazz ensembles. For Post-Graduate study, he attended the acclaimed North Carolina Central University Jazz Program. While there, Titus had the privilege to study with Brian Horton, Joey Calderazzo, Branford Marsalis, and learn from an illustrious jazz faculty.  Titus Gant combines a unique sound, groove, and vocals within the jazz tradition that captivates, moves, and empowers!

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 Day of Show.  Tickets include applicable tax.  A $1 Facility Fee will be added to the price of each ticket.  The Box Office will be open the night of the show.
