Inside Out July 24, 7:00 pm

Part of our 12th Annual Summer Film Fest!

This celebrated Pixar-animated film follows Riley (Kaitlyn Dias), a happy, hockey-loving 11-year-old Midwestern girl who loves her life. But Riley’s world is suddenly turned upside-down when her parents decide to move to San Francisco and take their daughter away from everything she knows! Riley’s emotions — led by Joy (Amy Poehler) — try to guide her through this difficult, life-changing event. However, the stress of the move brings Sadness (Phyllis Smith) to the forefront. When Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley’s mind, the only emotions left in Headquarters are Anger, Fear and Disgust!

Directed by Pete Docter. Starring Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Richard Kind, Lewis Black, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling, and Kaitlyn Dias. 2015. Rated PG. One hour, 42 minutes.

The Carolina Theatre’s 12th Annual Summer Film Festival is presented with the Deuterman Law Group.
