COVID-19 Theatre & Crown Updates


We miss seeing all of you at the theatre, but for the time being we’re awaiting updated reports, assessing what other venues around the country are doing in the face of COVID, and consulting with our board of directors and members of the community to stay informed on what the best practices going forward might be. Though we don’t have an official public reopening date at this moment, we are considering what needs to happen in the timeliest (and safest!) manner possible. Our primary goal, as always, is to make sure our guests, staff, and performers are safe and comfortable, one step at a time. More to come soon!

In light of additional COVID-19 health concerns and protocol, the Carolina Theatre and The Crown at the Carolina have been working with co-presenters, private renters, and event promoters to make adjustments for impacted events. Additional changes are likely to come, and guests are encouraged to check the events listing for specific show updates. Please note: In the event of a show cancellation, refunds for all tickets will be issued. If an event has been postponed, tickets purchased for that show will be honored for the new date. (Refunds will also be available, pending final confirmed postponement date.)
