Greensboro Ballet: The Nutcracker December 9, 2:00 pm
From the moment you walk into the historic Carolina Theatre, festively decorated for the holidays, the magic begins. You're soon transported back in time to the home of young Clara celebrating the season with family and friends. After she receives a Nutcracker doll as a present from her Uncle Drosselmeyer, Clara will take you on a dreamy adventure with her through a battle between life-size mice and toy soldiers, then a sparkling land of swirling snowflakes, and finally, to an enchanting Land of the Dolls. The Sugar Plum Fairy and friends will entertain Clara and her Nutcracker Prince as the sumptuous Tchaikovsky score fills your ears with nostalgia and wonder.
Tickets are $45, $35, or $20, depending on location.
Ticket Commissions: A $5 processing fee and sales tax will be added to each ticket.
Everyone must have a ticket.
Students and children (ages 2-17 or with Student ID), seniors (60+), and Military save $5 per ticket.
Babes-in-arms (ages 0-23 months that will sit in your lap) are $10.
Groups of 12+ get $10 off the full price ticket.
Doors will open an hour before show time.
On December 9 and 10, add tickets to our pre-performance Tea With Clara for a truly magical afternoon.

Guests will enjoy delicious tea or punch along with treats of all kinds. Children will receive special goody bags that include a Nutcracker craft to complete, an autograph booklet, and gifts from our Sponsors. Of course, Clara will be there with her friends from the ballet story for pictures, autographs, and more.
NEW! This holiday season, we will begin our Tea with Clara event with a brief backstage tour and guests will learn Clara's lullaby dance right on our Nutcracker stage!
Tickets are $30 each, plus sales tax.
Everyone must have a ticket.
